If I Never Did, Then I Could Not Be Talking To You.

I am lying on my bed ,

With my eyes facing a white ceiling.

My arms holding the duvet so tight

The devet tucked tight right under my chin.

Then I start talking to you.

With lots of questions that I believe you whisper answers softly into my soul.

I begin…

What do you have to say,

About the trials, that I come across unexpectedly.

One after another, a problem solved is the beginning of another.

When my candle of peace goes off my candle of strength fades off.

Blinking has become my sleep

My breathing has become a sigh

My speech has become a song,

A song of plead not praise.

Tears of joy are also so sweet,

So sweet to bear the bitterness.

My enemies are gnashing their teeth roughly as they break my bones.

Their toungues also out in greed for the love you give me.

When will that day come?

When the only candle of hope still burning

Light up the rest of the faded candles?

When will that day come?

That I realize that I ain\’t alone

I didn\’t not create my own soul,

And.

I don\’t own the raw material that built my flesh.

When will that day come?

When I shall have a smile on my eyes, right from the corners of my lips,

As I utter the words:

You are mighty, You never blink an eye.

Then it hits my mind.

That I have driven through a very rough road.

I have never gone out of fuel.

Hope still lights brightly within me.

Then I believe my day will come.

Because if I never did believe

Then, I could not be talking to you.

You are The Incharge

And watching me always

Especially now I am talking to you.

So, I sleep.

And you watch over me…
